Your right, it's definitely kind of "cool" to have an uncommon car that turns heads. Anyone that denies that is probably lying, since 99% of people like positive attention in one way or another.
It just makes me laugh when I think about how many people place that attention factor extremely high up on their list, especially when they're only driving extremely affordable cars. Whether you drive a Mustang or a Z there really are no barriers to entry. Anyone can buy one.
There are many more important things about a car to me than whether or not it's rare or turns heads, so I have a hard time sometimes understanding the thought process of some of the folks that are really seeking attention. I kind of feel like the driving experience should always come first, but that's not always the case for everyone! And that's what makes the world go 'round, I suppose!
