Revving to redline occasionally is OK, it will wear the engine faster, but, that motor's probably going to last 300K miles, which is way longer than anyone's going to care if it still makes 332 HP.

Side-stepping/dumping the clutch from 7500 RPM on the other hand, could screw stuff up real quick. Maybe the first time, even, if your tires are hot and the pavement is good and sticky.

I'll do it to your Z, but I wouldn't do it to mine.
