Or, you could go through the trouble of going to an automotive paint supply shop to get colour matched metal paint. They might be able to put it in a spray can for you, if you don't want/have an airbrush.

I have a Tamiya 1:24 but I'm painting mine 40th quartz. Tamiya has a gunmetal that looks pretty close to the 40th colour, so I lucked out.
