I watched the entire match. When Roddick was up 6-2 in the second set tie break, I thought he was going to win fairly easily. Federer won the next seven points & I was sure he would cruise the rest of the way.
I feel bad that Roddick wasn't broken until his final game & then lost. He played like a true champion-- hopefully a level of play he can sustain & possibly live up to the immense promise he's at times shown.
Realistically, he BARELY lost to the man who now holds more Grand Slam titles than anyone in history. That's pretty impressive.
All that said, I wish Nadal could've played.
