It seems like a nice idea to wrap the intake, but I kind of wonder if it really has any measurable effect. I'd love to see some before/after IAT logs. I might have to try logging it myself when my Gen 3's come in.

I've heard arguments against wrapping intakes, not that it hurts, just that it's a waste of time, since as soon as you floor the gas pedal, there will be enough air to chill those pipes back down very quickly. I guess it's a question of how quickly an unwrapped pipe soaks up heat, and how quickly it will cool back off from just the air flowing inside it. If revving your motor before a launch is enough to cool them back off, then I would argue it's pretty much not worth it. Or maybe just a fraction of the first second after launch, where you are probably traction limited anyways...
