Off the top I can think of a couple things to consider:
The Stillen G3 intakes are tuned due to diameter, length, turbulence minimizing...just to name a few parameters.
More flow going into a "compartment" will cause an increase in pressure.
Especially under load the intake will draw air in.
My thought is that the front compartment may not be ambient temperature but it will be cooler than it was before with the holes/ducts.
If air is simply dumped into the stock box I'm not sure this would be a true RAM air system. Essentially there would be improvement only on cooler temps not neccessarily a RAM affect (unless car speed was significant).
