I can't even understand how someone would need better street pads than stock unless you are either:
A) Do a lot of auto-x (even then?) or occasionally track your car and don't feel like swapping pads out each time.
B) Driving recklessly.
I can't think of a single time on the street where I felt I needed better brakes. Our stock brake pads handle extremely well and can stop pretty damn quickly, certainly good enough for the street. Hell, the few times I did have to slam on my brakes, I couldn't even brake as hard as I would of liked, for fear of a giant SUV or truck slamming into the back of me.
