I wish they would run each car a few times on a proper strip and time that and compare. vs one run on uneven roads.

It was late less than half a second off the line. It was like 1-1/2 second behind at the end. For $250K more than the GT-R, it shouldn't be a contest. Just goes to show how remarkable the GT-R has been engineered. At a road course, like the 'Ring, its probably a toss-up based on driver skill. The quickest LF-A on the 'Ring was at 7:38 with temporary road tires available.
It would have been cool to see a few more runs or at least record the times and trap speeds, but this pretty much gets the point across.
