They may have underestimated the amount of oil cooling required in VQ's. With my oil cooler (which is one of the largest Setrab cores) I only can get about 10 laps of driving flatout at maximum RPM's on a hot day on a fast track. Cooler days or tracks with more mid-speed corners it is fine.

I think I read in their build info that they were using an oil to water cooler, hence allowing the radiator to do most of the work. Not sure if that was a supplement to an oil to air cooler or if that was the only cooling mechanism.
