Although LM is now banned, it's a valid question. Every shop has the option to work with whatever dyno numbers and CF factors they wish. In the case of The Shop, Jimmy has used this correction factor for years. It coincides with what numbers stock Subaru STI's and WRX's were getting on other dynos.
My Subaru made
496whp on this dyno and ran
10.85 @ 128 with a good driver (No slicks, meth, open exhaust, seats removed, or nuthin' different!)
This seems to be the ten-second break point on his dyno. In this case, I would LOVE to see a mid-high eleven second pass with this car, even though it has even more torque and whp. There is no way it will launch hard to go tens. Nor do I care.
All I can tell you is it's VERY worthy power.
I need to lose the exhaust, even if it loses 25whp. My wife won't ride in the car. She hates the drone @ 2100 and it's no fun dragging someone out for a spin who doesn't want to be there.
Suggestions on a performance
quiet 2.5"-3" exhaust?
