I don't know if any of you guys realize this... but there are people that play video games professionally. I'm pretty sure there is a pro gaming league.

If THAT can be a "sport," drifting certainly can be.

It takes tremendous skill to drive cars like that...

The definition of the word "Sport"

(Noun) an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.

I'd say by definition... Drifting is a sport.
