Snap-on Polish-1
Has anyone else ever used this product? It's a polish (not a wax) and sealant made by "Snap-on" (yea, THAT Snap-on, surprisingly. I didn't know they made anything like this).
It is (was) only available by the case, intended for body and custom shops as I heard it.
A couple of years ago, my wife's daughter's husband gave me a bottle when I told him that I couldn't get water spots from Florida ground-water irrigation off my previous car, no matter what I tried. I was about to try a clay-bar treatment when he gave me this stuff. Took the spots right off. DEEPENED the shine, too.
I had tree sap and water spots on my new Magnetic Black Z. Gone. No swirls. DEEP shine.
The label says, "Safely cleans, polishes, microseals, environmental screen, premium clear-coat care"
Back label:
"POLISH1CSA performs superbly on acrylic, enamel, lacquer, urethane, all clear coats. POLISH1CSA removes carbon contamination, dirt, pollutants and oxidation when restoring original depth and luster. POLISH1CSA's superior gloss is due to its chemically unique blend of polyethylene polymers. As it contains no wax, added application will not yellow. POLISH1CSA's durable protection lasts many times longer than wax or resin coatings and is safely used with foam finishing pads. Use POLISH1CSA for maximum protection and quality appearance of your auto, boat, aircraft, fleet or sport vehicle. Designed for tough colors, like red and black, with outstanding results. Contains no free silicones."
This stuff is great, and I think is a very viable alternative to clay-barring. I've seen it work, twice!
BUT, if you do a google search for POLISH1CSA, you will be directed to Snap-on's website and that will tell you "Product not found" when you try to "Add to cart", so maybe they pulled it off the market, or maybe an upgrade is on the way. I hope so!!! I may contact them to find out the status of this.
I have 2/3 of a bottle left...good as gold!!
