It’s here….it’s now…it’s happening !!!
The
Z Club of Houston
BLUEBONNET RUN 2011 !!!
As planned the bluebonnet run is here, if you have been to the monthly meetings you knew this was coming
Todd Smith has stepped up and volunteered to lead the way !
He worked hard to get this rout right and had a group of us go check it out last December to make sure is was
just what we were looking for.
So…
Plan next Saturday (April 16th) to be on the road with your friends.
We will be meeting up in the morning between 9:00 and 9:45 and we will head out by 10.
You might want to get a light breakfast or snack so come out early.
We will be keep on eye on the weather for you.
Meeting Location:
Santikos Silverado 19 IMAX Houston
24720 Texas State Highway 249,
Tomball, TX 77375.
A quick view of the itinerary:
The route is from 249 back to 290. We will start by pulling into the Sam Houston National Forrest and taking a picture break.
After some back-road driving, We will find our way to Washington on the Brazos.
Depending on the interest in a little Texas History, we can stop in for a quick tour. Then we will make our way to Brenham for the Bluebonnets and some late lunch, before heading back home down 290.
We will be having a driver’s meeting right before we head out and exchanging some information so everyone is comfortable while “en route” .
It’s going to be a good one….come out and play !
