I raise you
$13,000 AP1
$300 3mm headgasket
$500 IP turboback exhaust
$6000 inlinepro full race turbo kit with fuel management
$900 AEM EMS

And since we're talking straight line

$26,000 370z
$8000GTM Twin Turbo Stage 2

$34000

I don't even need to throw on anything else to get to 500whp....

Anyways, this discussion is stupid and pointless. Everybody knows factory turbo cars offer a lot more bang for your buck when it comes to small mods. Maybe you could go troll the guys on NASIOC, see how that works out for you.

I came very close to purchasing a 135i instead of my Z, because I did enjoy the car on the road. When I had an opportunity to drive it hard it was much less enjoyable though. They're great cars, and I don't think anyone here that has driven one would be quick to admit they're a fun car driven up to around 7/10 or so.
