I stand by what I say as as I have personally witnessed a GT-R hand Vettes and Mustangs their butts to them.
GIVEN MORE TRACK LENGTH anyone can claim that any car with top end power will eventually overtake the better off-the-line car / driver.
It is what it is though as a 1/4 mile is what it officially is. And I don't see any movement out their wanting to extend the track length so a particular car or driver can do better against other cars that are set up correctly to maximize hooking the road. And as they say in the drag world if you can't get it done in a 1/4 mile then you need to either get a different car or configure the car you are driving better....
The outcome is what it is...a loss for the Vette and in this case less power was more and a victory...and that makes the GT-R an all around better and stronger car.
