thats wrong, they only bake them at 300-400 degree's, When they forged the wheel its heated and compressed at way higher heat. So that would make them weaker, from what your saying. Theres many companys that powder there wheels instead of painting, holds up better. Inless your try to say the chemicals make the metal wheel not as strong. Heat wont do anything to them. think about a forged piston and the heat that it has to hold up to, coming up on the compression stroke and hit with a HUGE amount of heat on the power stroke, this weakin the piston? U drive your car hard, for 30-60 minutes then shut it off, this weakin the piston, dont think so.
forging is there to be able to handle really high amounts of heat, and still retain its strength propertys.
