Man, I don't know where to start. I did get pics, but honestly, today was somewhat of a disappointment. I am not going to put the blame on GTM, so please do not judge them based on what I am about to post. I told them they had until end of April or start of May. With that being said, NOTHING has been done to the car except for the headlights by MRWorks. They looked fantastic (when I saw the right headlight), until I saw the left headlight. It has quite a bit of condensation in it, meaning it didn't seal properly. To Marcos credit, he said send them back and they will take care of it.

There were a few other issues, maybe some mis-understandings, I don't know what else to call them, but I was at the point of selling the Z and buying a Z06. It was rather disheartening. I left rather aggravated at the whole situation. I stewed on it over lunch and called Sam to pull the plug on the car. As was expected, he was quite upset, as I was THE TEST CAR for the Stage 2. I was to be the stock test and move into the other phases (CBE, headers etc.). I decided to drive back to GTM after lunch and pulled Sam aside. We talked for about 45 minutes. If I pulled the car, it would have set the Stage 2 back indefinitely, as he had no other bone stock Z for the test.

Again, this is NOT, I repeat NOT in any way a reflection on Sam, GTM, Marco/Ryan, or MRWorks. I just let all of the little things get in the way of the finish line and the headlights were kind of the final straw.

I have decided to not sell the Z for the Z06 and will allow the car to stay with Sam and finish the testing so not to delay anyone else with this SC. Sam is definitely short staffed, but has the best intentions with the Z community. So while I was hoping to have pictures of something cool, the only thing I really got was the condensation within the headlight itself.

So, I will be coming back to GTM in May for hopefully the last time to go over the finished product.

Until then, stay tuned.

Wayne
