1. Yes I had to pull the whole glove box out. Was a 15 min job start to finish to install, taking my time.
2. The Nissan part number in the pic is correct but trust me when I say its a piece of flimsy paper and is not worth putting a new one in, especially since Nissan charges like $30-$40 for one for just the part.

PS - A fun note about Amazon.com is that you can test out their Prime free two-day shipping for a month when you order and get the filter on your door in two days. Then once the order is placed, immediately go to your account options for Prime shipping and say "Do Not Auto-Renew or Activate" and then it cancels it as of the next day going forward. BUT, you still get your free two day shipping that one time.
