For me, 8 minutes on the track and I am in limp mode. I have to pull off for about 10 minutes to let everything cool down each time. Hard acceleration and hard braking, but I'm certainly not red-lining it most of the time. Very easy to reproduce and pretty consistent for me. That being said, I have never gone into limp mode off the track. It went up to 265 during a 75 mph ascent up a long, moderate climb on cruise control (hit 265 about 3 minutes into the climb on the 395 on the east side of California. Other than that, it will often climb up to 240'ish during normal driving with a few hard accelerations but usually sits around 220.
