Yeah, anything above 450 hp and more than four pounds of boost... I'd be scared to run full throttle. Well, it's probably only going to be twin turbo, because the Z had twin throttle bodies, so I would imagine that a single turbo set up would require just more work... plus if you had one turbo for just three cylinders, we'd get much less lag and more reliability of parts. You could also run a roots type or a centrifugal supercharger too.

A friend of mine had a WRX that he had modded to be similar / better than the STi that was released. He had the bug-eye (which I don't think is ugly). He had a large VF turbo set to boost around 35 psi... and a downpipe. When he hit 4k rpm.... oh ho ho.
